At Three Sisters Detailing, our Desert Detailing Package is a multi-step preservation process specifically engineered to combat these desert-specific challenges. We use FAA-approved materials to ensure your airframe and cabin are not just clean, but protected against the elements. Our Advanced Desert Cleaning Services 1. Nitrogen-Infused Pure Water Wash In the desert, standard tap water is often mineral-heavy, leading to "etching" on aluminum and windows. We utilize a Nitrogen-Infused Water System for our wet washes. Corrosion Prevention: By neutralizing mineral content, we eliminate hard-water spotting and oxidative corrosion on rivets and seams. Streak-Free Finish: The nitrogen bubbles help lift desert silt more effectively than water alone, leaving a mirror-like finish without aggressive scrubbing. Inert Safety: Using nitrogen helps prevent the "dieseling" of oils in landing gear and ensures a chemically stable cleaning environment for your aircraft. 2. UV-Barrier Paint Preservation The 110°F+ Coachella Valley sun causes "chalking" and oxidation. We apply an aviation-grade UV sealant that acts as a sunscreen for your paint, preventing fading and maintaining the resale value of your aircraft. 3. High-Intake De-Dusting Silica dust acts as sandpaper on turbine blades and airframe surfaces. We perform a specialized dry-extraction de-dusting of all engine inlets and leading edges to ensure your aircraft is free of abrasive particles before flight. 4. Thermal-Resistant Interior Care Standard leather conditioners evaporate in the desert heat, leaving your seats prone to cracking. We use high-end, thermal-stable conditioners that penetrate deep into the leather to maintain suppleness even in the hottest hangars.
